Aloha! I’m Kenzie. A photographer, artist, wife, and mother based on the Island of Hawai’i. I’m inspired by golden hour glitter on the water, childlike wonder, and God’s creativity in nature. My approach is rooted in joy and the beauty of authenticity: unplanned, real moments, natural emotion, and all the little details.

I’m here for so much more than that. I create visual poetry that documents the joy of this life and sparks all the nostalgia. My approach is about creating images that really capture the feeling, tell your stories in an artful way, and beautifully preserve the memories you hold so close.
I’m always on the hunt for hidden moments that are unscripted and hold little details. You know, the ones that can’t be staged; like the way sunlight filters through a veil or cheeky grins at inside jokes.
Intentionally candid, cinematic storytelling and natural human emotion — that’s what inspires me most and keeps my creativity alive.

I was so nervous about not feeling loose or comfortable enough, but she completely saw and talked out all of that. Even at first when I was feeling awkward with myself she somehow caught those moments perfectly and directed me through/out of that funk fast. She had me curate the perfect playlist to play while we did the desert shoot and it was complete freeing magic. She is so so good at making you feel comfy and most of all made it SO FUN. I’ve never enjoyed having my photo taken but because of this sesh I’d do one every wknd with her if I could.
